Danny Rand, also known as Iron Fist, is a character adapted for the Netflix Marvel television series. He first appeared in Iron Fist (TV Show) on Netflix in 2017.
In the series, Danny is the sole survivor of a plane crash that claimed the lives of his parents. He was rescued by monks from the mystical city of K'un-Lun and trained in martial arts, eventually becoming the Iron Fist, a warrior who can channel his chi into his fist to deliver powerful blows.
Returning to New York City after years away, Danny seeks to reclaim his family's company, Rand Enterprises, and fight the Hand, a criminal organization threatening the city. He is portrayed by actor Finn Jones.
